Jamie

This is Jamie.
He is 3 weeks old but he was born 7 week prem so I guess that really makes him -4 weeks old. He arrived with us on Tuesday. His weight is 1.5kg.

We don't have an incubator here for someone so small so with the help of hot water bottles and the sun we do what we can.

This photo was taken this morning as he lay on my lap while we gave him his 10mins in the sun to try and keep him warm and help the jaundice.

Sadly not long after this photo the medical team decided to take him to hospital as he had lost 200gms over night and his temp was 104.

Please pray for him tongiht that this small life will survive and the hospital take good care of him. This is the second child from the nursery that has been sent to the hospital. I am praying we see Jamie coming back here soon. His mother died last week and he has a father who loves him dearly.

At the same time one of the Tia's here had her baby on Tues and is in the same place as Jamie. The tia's baby weighted 1.1kg.

Pray for both these young lives.
